Big Win: WH Recognizes April 8 as Day for Child Sexual Abuse Prevention, Healing + Justice!
Dear friends,
Thank you for all of your support as we launched our letter to the Biden-Harris Administration last month. We’re proud to announce that with your help, President Biden issued a strong statement for National Child Abuse Prevention Month recognizing child sexual abuse and a commitment to prevention, healing, and justice.
With your support, we celebrated April 8, 2021, as the inaugural Day for Child Sexual Abuse Prevention, Healing, and Justice. In addition to our collective advocacy efforts, the Keep Kids Safe coalition had a successful relay of events throughout the day—from a Survivor Speak Out to a film screening—to raise awareness and drive action. Thank you for your attendance and for supporting the work we all do to lift up survivors’ voices.
We are excited to celebrate April 8 with you again next year! Please stay tuned for more updates soon. In the meantime, please share our Keep Kids Safe action hub with more ways you can get involved.
Thank you for all that you do,
Keep Kids Safe
